Quotations
Quotations are free and prepared from the information you give us and, where needed, an inspection of the property. A quotation describes the agreed scope of work and price. Quotations may be withdrawn or revised if the property or requirements turn out to be materially different from what was described.
Submitting a quote request does not create a booking. A booking is confirmed only after you accept the quotation and Grant's Window Cleaning Ltd confirms the appointment.
Scope of work and additional work
We carry out the work described in the accepted quotation. Additional work requested on the day is charged separately and agreed before it begins.
Prices and payment
Prices are as stated in the quotation. Any deposit requirements and payment deadlines are confirmed at the time of booking. VAT status will be stated on quotations and invoices where applicable. For recurring services, the agreed price applies to each visit until changed with reasonable notice.
Access and site conditions
- Please ensure agreed access on the day, including unlocking gates.
- Please secure pets and move vehicles or obstructions where agreed.
- Where use of your water or electricity has been agreed, it must be safely available.
- If we cannot access the property or work area on arrival, a failed-access charge may apply where this has been communicated in advance.
Property condition
We take care to note existing damage before starting. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, including fragile or specialist glazing, failed double-glazing seals, deteriorated frames, flaking paint, loose roof tiles or fragile roof coverings. Where the condition of a surface makes work unsafe or likely to cause damage, we may decline or stop that part of the work and will tell you why.
Results vary according to the age, condition, material and previous treatment of the surface. Grant's Window Cleaning Ltd does not guarantee the removal of permanent staining, scratching, oxidation, failed seals, historic damage or defects that existed before the work began.
Solar panels
Solar panel cleaning is carried out using purified water and manufacturer-appropriate methods. We do not guarantee that cleaning will increase energy output.
Weather and safety
Work may be postponed where weather or site conditions make it unsafe or likely to produce a poor result. We will rearrange promptly. We reserve the right to refuse work that cannot be carried out safely.
Missed appointments, cancellation and rescheduling

Complaints
If something is not right, please tell us. Our Complaints Policy explains how we handle problems.
Liability
We are fully insured. We are responsible for damage caused by our negligence. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Subcontractors
Where approved subcontractors are used, we remain responsible for the work carried out under our instruction.
General
